Massive Yang-Mills theory - Renormalizability versus unitarity
journal contribution
posted on 2023-05-17, 23:52 authored by Robert DelbourgoRobert Delbourgo, Twisk, S, G ThompsonVarious massive Yang-Mills theories not based on the Higgs mechanism are investigated. They are subject to conflicting demands in the twin requirements of unitarity and perturbative renormalizability. Either one or other of these requirements is violated. Unitarity is considered in some detail.
