FVRF is a 54 ha farm near Forth, which has been used mostly for research projects by TIAR and other research providers who pay for access to experimental areas. Commercial crops are grown in rotation areas not being used for experimental work, generating additional in revenue. In future, more Development and Extension projects will be undertaken, following facility upgrading currently in progress. This paper provides information on the upgrade resulting from the 2010 review of the farm’s operation and management, and identify current activities on FVRF.
