An iterative scheme involving minimum distance, nonexpansive projections onto convex spaces for the reconstruction of a signal from its wavelet transform modulus maxima is described. The minimum distance projection corresponding to the convex component of the modulus maxima constraint can be implemented using the method of quadratic programming.
