A new foliar dematiaceous hyphomycete, Pseudocercospora subulata, is described and illustrated. P. subulata differs from the known members of Pseudocercospora mainly in the typical subulate conidia. The differences between the new species and its closely related species are discussed. The fungus is associated with leaf spots of Eucalyptus nitens.
