As part of the UTAS 125 celebrations the QVMAG curated an exhibition covering the history of the Art Schools in Tasmania. This exhibition covers the life of both schools from 1884 until the present, focusing on the significant role that the staff of these schools have had in shaping the cultural life of this state. The exhibition, Growth Change Influence, will be held at the QVMAG Art Gallery at Royal Park Launceston.

An important part of this show will be to showcase the works of the current staff and how they are continuing to influence the art environment of Tasmania and grow the next generation of artists.
