The Comeback Kid: Mahathir and the 2018 Malaysian General Elections
Mahathir Mohamad’s place in Asian history is assured. Not only has he had the distinction of being the longest serving Malaysian prime minister (1981–2003), he has just been re-elected as prime minister of his country on 9 May 2018, after being in retirement for 15 years. He is the world’s oldest elected leader at 92 years old.
