The Possum, August 6-8, 2015 Mudlark Theatre and Earl Arts Centre in partnership with Theatre North. Performance abstract: In a world driven by greed and domination, in a country governed by alternate idiots, in a state of staggering natural beauty and nepotism, Henry and Lucy have opted out. Theyíve built lives of dark dependence, carved out a forgotten niche to call home. Unseen, are they committing unwatchable crimes? Itís perfect...Until the Possum arrives... Theatre North at the Princess has had the privilege of a rewarding relationship with Launceston-based company Mudlark Theatre over several years. Theatre North has partnered Mudlark in their productions of new Tasmanian work, most recently Hannah Malarskiís remarkable play The Midlands. Not only did Theatre North support the scriptís development through its play reading series (Prologue for Potentials) in 2012, it also presented a full production in the 2013 Subscription Season.
