Spiegeltent Performances

The Tango Club, with Leonardo Intilangelo (bandoneon) and Matt Boden (piano), involved the presentation of old and new tango music arranged for trio by Peter Tanfield and Matt Boden. The Gypsy Four was a very varied programme of Klezmer, Gypsy jazz and Eastern European Gypsy music – some traditional but more by Roby and Sandor Lakatos – arranged for the four players by Peter Tanfield and Matt Boden. There was a considerable amount of work involved in arrangement and preparation of the material and the event represented a very real step out of the comfort zone for all four musicians.
