Limitation of the second-order wave theory in low frequencies

In the following, the formulation of the problem and the system of notation used in Ref. [1] are kept. During the last five years, I have developed a new three dimensional FEM hydrodynamic model to study the behaviour of Oscillating Water Column (OWC) Wave Energy Convertors (WECs) at sea. For more information about the model and its applications, please refer to [2], [3], [4] and [5].
