Augmented reality in the English classroom
This chapter will address the following three key questions:
1. What is Augmented Reality and how has it been used for educational contexts?
2. How has Augmented Reality been used for storytelling?
3. How can teachers use the affordances of Augmented Reality for children's multimodal storytelling?
As we outline the answers to these questions, we will demonstrate the potential for teachers-even with limited technical expertise---to be able to introduce Augmented Reality storytelling in their classrooms immediately.
