Abstract

We obtain the general form of the axial anomaly in 2N dimensions, with N necessarily even, as

where the {ni} correspond to a partition of N/2 into positive integers, viz. N/2 = n1 + 2n2 + + nNN/2. The coefficients C have been calculated explicitly for eight dimensions.
