In March of this year the International Court of Justice ruled that Japan had to immediately stop its Antarctic whaling program and that ruling will probably come up in this week’s international whale commission meeting that is being in held in Slovenia. We are lucky enough in this country to see whales migrating up and down our coastline and while they're swimming to and from warmer waters they do things in the ocean that play a vital role in feeding the ocean and the consequences of that are really quite important and could help all of us in the future. It’s all to do with iron and carbon.
