The landscape of service delivery is changing. By adopting an ordered, systematic approach to any change in service delivery, speech-language pathologists can facilitate needed changes, take leadership roles, and gain the necessary team and administrative support for collaborative and functional intervention under varied service-delivery models. This article proposes such a systems approach for dealing with change in the delivery of speech-language pathology services, particularly as it relates to implementing service delivery with speech-language pathology assistants.
