Abstract
This project aimed to quantify and map referral patterns among community based (gov, non-gov and private) services for young people in NW Tasmania. Preliminary data was presented to the forum in particular highlighting the diverse range of profession terms used to identify staff within organisations; variety of exclusion criteria across services and number of different programs and services on offer. Discussion and feedback was invited about the complexity of analysing and translating this data and the potential for the use of social network analysis to articulate referral patterns and connections within the community. Findings from this project will be widely disseminated back to project participants, services and key stakeholders.
