Abstract
This report presents the final report for ‘An evaluation of Understanding Mental Health and Wellbeing education’ that is operated by Aspire. The evaluation has been funded by SMHS at DHHS, Tasmania. The evaluation comprised an investigation of the course through a series of observations examination of data, interviews with students of the course, teachers and stakeholders. The study sought to identify the short‐term and longer term impact of the education for individuals, organisations and how this may influence communities. These concepts form a central part of the Promotion prevention and early intervention (PPEI) strategic plan adopted by the SMHS at DHHS, Tasmania that guides the planning and operation of mental health services within Tasmania.
