Abstract

This report provides a summary of the status and trends of Australian (Arctocephalus pusillus doriferus) and New Zealand fur seals (A. p. doriferus) in Australia and New Zealand from published literature. The scope of this report is to review information on Tasmanian, Victorian and total population sizes, as well as past and present trends.
