Morphology of cementite in archaeological steels that have suffered fire

Article in Spanish language. A metallographic study of archaeological steel artifacts found in different archaeological sites is presented. The items show characteristic microstructures revealing that they have been affected by the action of of fire. The study was performed using FEG (Field Emission Gun). The observed structures in archaeological steel could be reproduced in the laboratory.
