Enabling and sustaining a collaborative teaching approach across campuses; a case study in 'A Handbook for Reviewing and Improving Multi-campus Units'

report
posted on 2023-05-25, 03:00 authored by Tarr, JE
Developing and sustaining three human biosciences units taught to hundreds of students completing a Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Paramedic Practice across four diverse campuses involves many challenges. Foremost among these are challenges associated with building and maintaining an academic team, delivering a comprehensive and coherent unit series, and providing appropriate infrastructure and student support services. Two key factors in ensuring success are a collegial staff environment and the explicit support of the Head of School.
