Genetic Disorders and Islamic Identity Among British Bangladeshis

book
posted on 2023-05-22, 07:14 authored by Rozario, ST
This book is a study of British Bangladeshi Muslim families and how they experience genetic disorders. A major focus of the research is the ways in which Islam and British Bangladeshi culture affected the families’ behaviour. Genetic illness is a social issue as well as a medical issue, and the research in this book has real-life implications and significance as well as making a contribution to anthropological knowledge.
