The Southern Gospel Choir (SGC) at St David’s concert was conceived as a way of the SGC providing a more traditional approach to choral music, in an environment that was conducive to both acoustic (un-amplified) singing, and one that reflected the ethos of the African American Spirituals which underpinned the repertoire for this event. Nick Haywood played acoustic bass in ths concert, providing support and rhythmic propulsion for the choir
