journal contribution
posted on 2023-05-22, 05:14 authored by Hayes, KMr DM is a 50-year-old man who lives alone. His past medical history includes: - hypertension. - motor vehicle accident (MVA) two years ago. - discogenic back and neck pain. - hyperhidrosis. Mr DM had admitted to his community pharmacist that he did not always take his medications as directed, rather taking them when he felt he needed to. He also seemed unclear about the purpose of many of his medicines and joked that he took them according to the colour of the tablet. It was recommended by the staff at the pharmacy on several occasions that he has a home medication review.
