Seasonal variation in potential water repellence and its effects on soil hydraulic properties

conference contribution
posted on 2023-05-24, 11:00 authored by Marcus HardieMarcus Hardie, Cotching, W, Lisson, S
Water repellence affects approximately 5 million hectares of agricultural land in Australia. However its occurrence in texture-contrast soils is not widely reported or understood. This manuscript details seasonal variations in the potential water repellence of a texture-contrast soil, and explore the mechanisms and consequences of unstable flow development at high and low antecedent moisture content.
