Abstract

Summary of Findings Field trials assessed the effect of plant maturity and growth regulators (PGR) on biomass production and yield of canola. Winter canola had greater yields than spring canola. PGR applied to the spring canola decreased plant height and grain yield. PGR applied to the winter canola had a small reduction in plant height of around 5 10 cm without affecting grain yield.
