Abstract
Summary of Findings • Field trials assessed the effect of plant maturity and growth regulators (PGR) on biomass production and yield of canola. • Winter canola had greater yields than spring canola. • PGR applied to the spring canola decreased plant height and grain yield. • PGR applied to the winter canola had a small reduction in plant height of around 5 – 10 cm without affecting grain yield.
