Abstract
A record of 18 regional fisheries management organisations exists on the high seas to provide for the long-term sustainability of global fish stocks. Today, these organisations face significant challenges to their ability to conserve and manage fish high seas resources as a result of insufficient political will to conserve global fish stocks.
