This report provides an update on progress since the Preliminary Literature Review which was submitted on 1 June 2011. Objectives As outlined in the previous report, the objectives of the project are to: a) Examine the international research evidence on normative aspects of physical activity among young people (with a secondary emphasis on nutrition and body image); b) Undertake research to explore normative influences on physical activity in the lives of young Tasmanian high school students (aged 12-16 years); and c) Produce a report that will inform future policy and service development within Population Health, DHHS and also support the implementation of the BODY HYPE program.
