chapter
posted on 2023-05-22, 13:01 authored by Yue, Y, Le, Q
International students have become an important industry for some developed countries. Apart from financial gain, they have made great contributions to their host countries in many aspects, educationally and culturally. However, it is important for host countries to recognize the problems facing international students within the academic context as well as in daily living. This chapter discusses the academic aspects of international students as sojourners and the challenges they have to endure to cope with academic pressure and adjustment to the new cultural environment.
