Abstract
A devised evening of readings from Shakespeare's sonnets augmented and accompanied by jazz standards and contemporary compositions.
A programme of selected Shakespeare sonnets interfused with jazz, and linking narrativ, comprising a portrait in words and music of the world's most celebrated poet playwright.
An insight into the mind, life and identity of the otherwise elusive man who wrote the plays.
Sonnets selected and read by internationally renowned Shakespeare specialist Rob Clare, and music directed and arranged by Glen Hodges
