Abstract
Grammar is an important aspect of literacy education. Linguists have provided useful insights
into the nature of grammar. Current literacy discussions pay great attention to the role of
grammar in education. Different perspectives on grammar and grammar teaching are
discussed . As teachers are the key players in literacy education. a study was conducted to
examine their views on grammar and literacy teaching. This chapter discusses the study and
its findings.
