Anticoagulation monitoring services

Warfarin remains the gold standard oral anticoagulant for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disease. Effective warfarin management comprises: • regular, accurate and patient-friendly International Normalised Ratio (INR) monitoring • timely interpretation of the result and dosage adjustment when indicated, and • management of any complications.
