Warfarin is a commonly used and effective anticoagulant medication, but it possesses a number of limitations that makes its use challenging for clinicians and patients. Patients' knowledge regarding warfarin is often suboptimal, and optimising this knowledge is one way of improving the clinical outcomes of warfarin therapy. This session will focus on strategies to improve the outcomes of warfarin therapy through patient engagement and education, including the use of innovative online resources.
