The Wharmby Collection: Contemporary Art from Tasmania and South Australia

The University of Tasmania's Wharmby Collection was created as a result of a substantial bequest by Miss Marion Wharmby.The collection was acquired during the latter part of the 1990s and showcases the work of a number of significant artists who have lived and worked in South Australia and Tasmania. This was the first time that the collection has been brought together in an exhibition.
