Tribute to Monk @ Devonport Jazz Festival

Alistair Dobson (saxophone) directs and features as a soloist with jazz ensemble Modern Operative in a concert performance showcasing the music of Theolonius Monk. The group features the arrangements of Kelly Ottaway who puts a modern spin on these timeless standards. Other ensemble members are: Les Johnston (trombone), Hayden Dare (trombone), Chris Williams (trumpet), Robert Mason (saxophone), Randal Muir (piano), Hamish Stevenson-Elliot (bass), Galen Harvey-Allanson (drums).
