Abstract
The induction technique was used for the first time to form descending pH gradients in carboxylic columns. Adding a strong electrolyte (NaCl) to the eluent and induction solution yields a smoother gradient linear over a wide pH range. Under induced pH gradient conditions, a model mixture of metals, as an example, was separated. Copyright © 2005 by Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
