Abstract

If awards are as indication of what is important to architects, then the national award for sustainable architecture speaks volumes. The inaugural 'Citation for Environmental Issues' in I993 coincided with the ' RAIA'S formal adoption of sustainability at the core of architecture practice through the Declaration of Interdependence for a Sustainable Future.
