Abstract
The use of digital technology facilitated the construction of both the towers of the World Trade Center (WTC) and their destruction by terrorists with the use of planes on September 11, 2001. This event has made it essential for computing professionals to develop the preventive systems relevant to antiterrorism efforts. The digital technology will be used in the development of preventive systems and members of the computing professions will assist the development. It is understood that the redistribution of the world's wealth will not eliminate terrorism and that that greater investment has to be made in teacher training and the educational use of digital technology to prevent its misuse.
