Morse, M, Paying Attention to Perceptual Experience Within Nature, Experiencing the Outdoors: Enhancing Strategies for Wellbeing, Sense Publishers, Rotterdam, M Robertson, R Lawrence, and G Heath (ed), Netherlands, pp. 113-122. ISBN 9789462099425 (2022) [Research Book Chapter]

The literature focussing on participant experiences of nature in outdoor and environmental education is extensive. Although this literature provides a conceptualisation of what an experience might be it is necessarily incomplete. Experience itself is not easily defined.
