Abstract

Napoleon's sojourn on the island of Elba in 1814/15 was anything but a harsh exile - and it was only a matter of time before he returned triumphantly to France, and on to Waterloo.

Dr Gavin Daly, a Senior Lecturer in Modern European History at the University of Tasmania joined Indira Naidoo to explain Napoleon's life on Elba, and the relative ease with with he escaped it.
