Abstract
Commissioned by the Australian Fairy Tale Society and Serenity Press for the Anthology South of the Sun: Australian Fairy Tales for the 21st Century, 'All Kinds of Fur' is based on the Grimm Brothers' tale of the same name. A dark tale, it is set in colonial Tasmania and references both the dispossession of Tasmania's indigenous peoples and the slaughter of native animals, including the thylacine.
