Abstract
Coles will stop giving away plastic collectable toys such as the popular Little Shop collection at its checkouts amid concerns the items have ended up in landfill and waterways.
Chief marketing officer Lisa Ronson said consumer attitudes had changed and plastic toy promotions were no longer aligned with the company’s environmental mission.
