This talk outlines our attempt to mobilise collaborative methodologies to better understand how a group of island academics, artists, and activists work with the tensions inherent in conversations about islandness, the Anthropocene, and decolonisation. Here, we are completely focused on the methodological challenges and not on what we have learned from that group of people. That work is still in development.
