An introduction to paving the practical pathway: The place of gifted education pedagogy in undergraduate clinical skills acquisition

This PhD project introduces gifted education pedagogy into the realm of medical education, with a specific focus on undergraduate clinical skills acquisition. Whilst there has been previous research into the development of empathy within undergraduate medical students, the insights brought from the discipline of gifted education will bring new perspective into the field.
