This final report is provided to EPR as a concluding report for outcomes that have eventuated from the EPR Research project STEAM Horizons: Engagement and attainment through interdisciplinary education. The active research phase of this project occurred between October 2018 and May 2020, during which time a post participation survey was conducted for the 2018 STEAM Horizons Symposium and ten semi-structured interviews. In alignment with the approved EPR protocols, this final report includes the project teams’ interpretation of the 2018 STEAM Horizons Symposium post-participation survey data (Appendix A), and offers three research informed recommendations in relation to the project aims. Drawing from the teams’ interpretation of the post-participation survey data, the recommendations offered in this final report offer insights into how design and delivery of future professional learning offerings might be conceived; particularly for those of a blended nature. This report also articulates further deliverables and activities that have eventuated since submission of the project interim report (Appendix B) to Jodee Wilson in February 2019. The overarching aims of the study are embedded in consideration of their alignment with correlating project deliverables.

The report is organised into two sections. Section 1 offers discussion of the 2018 STEAM Horizons post-participation survey data, and Section 2 offers annotated descriptions of key deliverables pertaining to the aims of the study.
