Abstract

In 1800s Australia Frances Levvy was one of the first people to promote animal kindness, by focussing on teaching it to children. Professor Elaine Stratford from the University of Tasmania told Phil Clark the story of one of Australia's most influential, yet least known, animal rights campaigners.
