As part of the University of Tasmania’s Data, Knowledge and Decisions (DKD) Research Theme, Dr Rebe Taylor initiated this project, developed, in part, from Aboriginal community consultations undertaken along with the SLNSW Indigenous Services Director, Kirsten Thorpe in April 2017 to build relationships and to discuss the management of the collections in the Library. The project was developed in collaboration with Dr Greg Lehman, a Tasmanian Aboriginal postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tasmania. The project was funded with a DKD Seed Grant in June 2018 and planning commenced immediately.
