Abstract
This report presents the results from a study investigating school staff understandings
and practices of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI)
students in Tasmania. It provides vital insight into how school staff currently support
LGBTI students in schools and what school staff foresee would assist them to do so
more effectively. Sixteen school staff from six Government high schools in Tasmania
participated in the project.
