Abstract
Since 2015, Top 5 has given a platform to Australia's brightest science communicators. This year, for the first time, it was expanded to include the humanities.
The winners span thousands of kilometres and undertake research into a variety of areas, including the ethical challenges doctors face, Indigenous representation in the media, and the rise of populism around the globe.
