Abstract
International Jazz Day occurs every year on April 30, created by UNESCO to highlight Jazz and its diplomatic role in uniting people around the globe.
Feature Artist: Melbourne jazz singer, Emma Gilmartin.
Emma performs regularly with her jazz quartet throughout Australia and beyond, and has also performed along-side some of Australia’s fi nest young jazz vocalists. Emma has released multiple albums and is currently teaching voice at Monash University, Melbourne.
Creative Team: Alistair Dobson – saxophone, Kelly Ottaway – vibraphone, Viktor Zappner – piano, Nick Haywood – double bass, and Beau Thomas – drums.
