Four composite samples, separated to four different size fraction each (P80: +106 um; 106-53 um, 53-20 um, -20 um) were sent to CODES Analytical Laboratories for mounting and analysis to determine quantitative mineralogy with a focus on Zn- and Pb-bearing minerals. Sixteen ~200g bags of sample were received. A representative split of each sample was mixed with epoxy resin and placed into a 2.5 cm mount (Fig. 1). Upon hardening, samples were sectioned to expose coarse-fine profile, remounted in epoxy, and polished for analysis. The mounted samples were analysed by SEM to determine mineral proportions and to perform Mineral Liberation Analysis for Pb- and Zn-rich minerals. Separate splits of each fraction were analysed by XRD.
