Abstract

Article of clothing known as "Trashion" (fashion made of trash). Part of an art-science collaboration between Jennifer Lavers and Marina DeBris. Developed using reclaimed materials (plastics washed up on beaches) and the intact wings from shearwaters which also washed up on beaches (on Lord Howe Island, Laversí collected these from her primary field research site in 2017).
