Being international at its heart, maritime transport has a great advantage as a workplace. It offers a vibrant and versatile job market, unbounded by borders with a competitive income. These qualities could interest many talented people and be considered an attractive career especially among the younger generation. Unfortunately, today's maritime job market is not resonating that fact anymore and research into this field does not promise a bright future.
